Bornstein Sons, Inc. is a 3rd generation family owned and operated business serving residential, commercial and industrial customers since 1928. We currently service Essex, Morris, Union, Passaic, and Bergen Counties. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service and to install superior heating and cooling systems for our customers, taking their needs into consideration and always doing the appropriate job. We stand behind our workmanship where competitors fall short. We are recognized as industry leaders regionally.
Richard
E. Fertel, President, is a graduate of the City University of New York
and Lincoln Technical Institute and has completed many post graduate business
and technical courses as well as several continuous course updates from State
Licensing Bureaus. Richard holds all licenses for the organization and is constantly
updating his expertise, obtaining new certifications and approaches advances
with a quest for knowledge. He has taught several technical and business courses
over the years and lectured for The Electrical Contractor’s Association. Richard’s
main function is overseeing all mechanical installations, meeting with customers
for the purpose of providing estimates and contracting all work that passes
through the company’s schedule. His day-to-day involvement keeps his hands on
the “pulse” of the business. Richard is never more than a phone call away and
constantly involved in all business activities. Customers are pleased to see
that he always inspects their installations.
Bonnie
Bornstein Fertel, Vice President, focuses on the administrative side
of the business, handling all other business matters, and heads up Customer
Service and Support. She is the backbone for reinforcement of the meticulous
office staff. Bonnie’s design skills have been the inspiration for many custom
bathroom remodels and custom design décor projects for clients wishing to embark
on a truly sensational renovation project. Bonnie continuously seeks new innovations
for the “back office” in terms of technology, communications, marketing and
advertising, and keeps a close eye on the all too necessary details of insurance
and financials keeping our company on the cutting edge and able to provide the
service our customers have come to expect.
Bornstein Sons, Inc. runs not only as a well-oiled machine,
but hasn’t lost that personal touch. Our well-trained staff is part of the family
