Sump Pumps
Sump pump failure, due to age or usage can be catastrophic. Power black outs are common. Many a household enjoys the benefits of a finished game room, media room or playroom. Carpeted floors, area rugs and hardwood can be ruined by a flooded basement in a matter of minutes. Don't risk damage to your basement and valuable stored items at the hands of nature. Install a Battery or Water-Actuated Back Up Pump Today!
A Battery Back-up Pump is activated when the main pump fails. It uses the power of a rechargeable heavy duty battery to provide water removal when the pump fails or the power is lost. It is recommended that these batteries be replaced periodically.
A Water-Actuated Back Up Pump operates in the same manner but is powered by high pressure water from your domestic plumbing system.
Because a properly operating sump pump is so important, older pumps should be professionally evaluated.
Water Filtration Systems:
To improve your Water Quality, consider installing one of the following:
Point of Use (POU), or Drinking Water Systems are typically installed at the kitchen faucet location. These under-sink filters utilize activated carbon filter cartridges designed to address bad taste, odor, chlorine taste & odor, lead, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) and cysts. They can also be installed inline with the water line to your stand-alone icemaker or to automatic icemakers and water dispensers on your refrigerator to help produce fresher-tasting water for ice cubes and beverages. The cartridges are designed to remove fine sediment and suspended particles such as sand, silt, rust, and scale from your water supply. Use these cartridges to improve taste and remove contaminants from your drinking and cooking preparation water.
Point of Entry (POE), or Whole-House Systems are typically installed on a home's main water line to trap sediment before it enters the water supply. Whole house filtration helps guard your clothes, fixtures and toilets against unsightly stains caused by iron and rust particles. They also help to protect and extend the life of your appliances.
Water Heaters
- Tank Type Water Heaters / Indirect Water Heaters/ Instantaneous Water Heaters
- Storage tank type water heaters are typically the most common. Water heaters are available in natural gas and electric as well as propane. Energy costs are most effective with the use of natural gas models.
- On Demand or Tankless water heaters are also self-contained units, but without a water storage tank. Rather, internal coils heat the water as it passes through when called for. Newer models also provide increased hot water usage for extended periods of time.
- Indirect Water Heaters can be installed as part of an integrated Hot Water Heating System and can be the most efficient way to heat your water particularly when combined with a Hi-Efficiency Boiler.

Hi-Efficiency Water Heaters…
